The Dome ticket
I stood outside the grand dome, its facade partly under construction and covered by a printed image of the building. This is the part I painted. I found there was something beautiful in it, in its own way. An old ticket lay on the ground, someone else's entry. I hesitated, staring at the long line baking in the sun, wondering if it was worth the wait.
FOMO sneaked in, but sometimes, "you go to places to miss out on places." A quote I remembered while traveling that always gives me peace of mind in such moments. So in the end, all I saw was the beautiful facade.
